Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Information typed into a third-party search tool is sent to the provider operating that tool. This resource does not maintain a log of names, case numbers, or other search terms entered into those partner tools. The partner's own privacy terms govern its handling of submitted search information.
Messages and Contact Submissions
A message sent to this resource may be retained to respond to it and manage the request. It is not sold. It may be disclosed only when necessary to provide the requested service, protect rights or security, or comply with a legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Servers and service providers may collect routine technical information whenever a page is requested. This can include the device IP address, browser and operating-system details, the referring page, pages viewed, visit duration, and page-view timestamps.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and similar tools help measure traffic, diagnose technical problems, and understand how visitors use the pages. A browser can be set to limit or block cookies, although some features or partner tools may then behave differently. Analytics information is used in aggregate where practical.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and submitted information may be used to operate and secure the site, route a request to the applicable service, measure performance, identify errors, understand content use, and support advertising that may be interest-based. It is not used to assemble a court-record database or consumer report.
No Court-Record Data on File
Caldwell Parish Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of court dockets or personal case files. It supplies general access information for the Caldwell Parish Clerk of Court, the 37th Judicial District Court, municipal custodians, and eClerksLA. Court access follows the official custodian and Louisiana law, including Code of Civil Procedure Article 251 for Clerk custody and public examination of nonrestricted court records. This resource is not a consumer reporting agency and does not create consumer reports about visitors or third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search widgets are operated by outside providers. A query submitted to one is subject to that provider's data practices, retention rules, pricing, and disclosures. Caldwell Parish Court Docket does not control those systems. Review the provider's privacy notice before entering personal information or purchasing a service.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Clerk sites, court portals, eClerksLA, statutes, municipalities, or other external resources. Their privacy policies apply after a visitor leaves this site. Advertising or analytics providers may also use their own technology to measure activity or tailor advertising; that activity is governed by their policies.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. It can be processed by search partners handling a submitted query, analytics or hosting vendors supporting site operation, advertising providers delivering ads, or governmental authorities when a valid legal request requires disclosure. Access is limited to those purposes.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information handled by the site. No online transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised. Visitors should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information into third-party search tools.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If information from a minor is believed to have been submitted, a request for review may be made and the information will be addressed as appropriate.
Your Data Rights
Louisiana's public-record law, including R.S. 44:31, concerns records held by public custodians and does not turn this private reference resource into a government records office. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may ask about personal information held from a direct contact, seek correction of inaccurate contact information, request deletion where feasible, or object to certain processing.
- Request a description of personal information retained from a direct message.
- Ask that inaccurate contact information be corrected.
- Request deletion of information when retention is not required.
- Adjust browser controls to limit cookies or similar tracking.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change as site operations, service providers, or legal requirements change. A revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Visitors should review the policy periodically when continued use matters.
